I spent ages browsing as you can guess. You're place is so cosy looking, comfy and cosy and loved. Well done.

Re: Pat,

That's a great deal for yarn! I see some great bargains at the thrift stores occasionally, for some really nice yarn!

Can you post a photo of your jellyfish?

Re: CCT,

In fact, I thinned out the collection just a bit yesterday, giving a couple of bowls and matching mugs to Charlie, and one that doesn't match, because I have never cared to use them in the months I've had them. I now have room for a couple more that I will enjoy using.

Also, in fact, I have just put an ad in the weekly paper that the 'cool' people read. It will come out next week, and be on the paper's website, too.  I am calling the daily paper, as well, to see if I can get a better deal on their classified ads: the price per ad is good, but they want me to pay for 10 at once. And those ads will only be in front of people for a day, anyway.

The rule you refer to brings to mind commas, that tell you which words are modified and which are not.  Very useful!  But most of us seem unable to get the hang of them.

How about taking some pictures of your jugs collection?  I'd love to see them!

Re: Naut,

There came a time in my cluttered life when open space became more desireable than stuff.  Storage space also is key to having a bit of order in the house. A place for everything...

Good luck with your study!

I might have to write a few more words about the rock.

Re: TAPS,

mmm... baklava! Very tough, crunchy baklava!

I love the cozy look of your place, and looking at the Flicker images

reminded me that I made a "jellyfish" out of a yarn remnant, a turquoise one. Now I need to find an ornament hook for it. Found a bargain in yarn at the Senior Center, full retail new skeins for 50 cents... Came home with $2.50 worth.

I used to collect jugs Ciel , but I have given some away recently

as I like the highly coloured ones best.

I wonder you do not advertise your proof reading skills.

Every one seems to want to be a author these days and some

E,books could do with a bit of  adjustment. Of course your English

is a little different to ours, some words the spell checker here

shows the difference. We seem to use the u more rumour

IE rumor. Although the Concise English usually  denotes the

US version. Of course we were not taught English at all

during the war years. I was always quite interested in those

little books 'Learn English, or how to speak correctly.'

The little gem was always remember, I am making this up now

because I cannot remember 'The quotation ' It mean't one

must not lose track of the nominative word because what follows

always applies to that word in the sentence. A bit muddy I know.

Ciel

I like your collection, and that 'baklava rock' (TAPS) is certainly unusual! I like your place anyway - it's airy, and what's more, it's neat! Which just now led me to make a New Years resolution - I'm gonna straighten out my study, LOL!

Your photos are always fun to look at.
That rock looks like Greek baklava for tea.
