oyster stew, bible readings from dr. luke, opening presents and candlelight services at redeemer lutheran church was our christmas eve tradition. now it's just eat food and open presents. i miss the bible and church. the day after this year was like a normal day for me as all food consumed on christmas was done at my sister's and a friend's house. lasagna for noon and egg rolls for dinner. it was the company that mattered most. christmas was much better than thanksgiving where i wound up alone unthinking and hit the panic -- good Lord I am manic button!

In Australia we have moved away from the Turkey in my family to sea food. Crustatians mainly...Lobster prawns oysters...a cold Christmas because of the heat and no one wants to cook. Here Wiley and I have a stuffed Turkey Roll and roasteed vegetables and greens and Cranberry sauce.

It was resting day for me.  Resting and eating leftovers.
The lamb sounds mighty good.

For some reason this year Christmas day and the day after were

the days my mojo returned. I could conjure characters and think up little scenes again after a frustrating dry spell. Perhaps it's time for me to start the revision of my NaNoWriMo project, and find out what "Simon Says."

For me, the day after Christmas is a regular work day or if it happens to be on a Wednesday or Sunday, a normal day off.
