Kabu you are a  day-dream. Now Janey cleans for me

I don't bother to tidy up or wash the floor.

What it the point of having a cleaner if you are going

to do all of it yourself. And Janey said she would

scrub my back when I said I was going to have a shower.

Sit down and look helpless, well it is too late now ,

you have brought it on yourself.

LOL - my mom would do the same! I'd let her do her stuff too - tell her you're an artist, and you want to make sure she keeps her job....or anything along those lines is good excuse.

I can afford a cleaning lady, but I know I would be just like you, Kabu....

Cleaning half of everything before she got there so that is the reason; as long as I have good health, I clean my own house. But sometimes, I do wish I had some help but it doesn't last for long!    There is a reason she is there; so let her do her job while you continue to look after Wiley! He needs your attention more than the house does!!!

Is this like washing off the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher?  I know you don't want to appear as a slob, but she is there to clean in general, isn't she? Let her do her stuff . . .

Kabu..this reminds me of a friend of ours...

who hired a cleaning lady, and then proceeded to get up earlier so she could have most of the cleaning already done...

I'm laughing because I have turned down the opportunity to have a recommended cleaning woman weekly for exactly the same reason you speak of.  I would feel the necessity to work harder myself or else die of embarrassment.

Kabu

I've never met a woman who wasn't scared to death of her cleaning lady and had her house spick and span before she got there, LOL...I, on the other hand, would probably mess things up a bit more just to make her feel useful...

I would be doing the same thing, too, if I had a cleaning person...I would like to wish you a Happy Halloween as well.

Happy Halloween Grandmummy!  I hope the little boy from across the street comes to pay you a visit today!

Since it's how she makes a living, she probably hopes you will

make a mess now and then, and that you will continue to need her.  I'm sure she's seen much worse than you can even imagine... :)
