Kabu...I don't think there's anyone with a heart that
wouldn't do the same thing if we had a "Scrappy" living in our yard or closeby...and do hope you and Wiley feel better.

I don't even know what the expected lifespan of a chipmunk may be.
Perhaps she's just getting ready for her long winter's hibernation. I hope your Wiley feels more like his old self again today.

Perhaps she will go to sleep and not wake up. That will be for the best, I should not think the life span is all that long and she has had a happy life apart from that little mishap. So do not grieve, you must adopt another and keep Scrappy as a loving thought.
