Re: Naut,

We may yet see 70s.  In fact, they could pop in any time throughout the winter.  Colorado Springs/Front Range weather is like that.

Re: FormerStudentIntern.

I always delight in them... even knowing how it will feel to see the same thing in January... February... March...

Re: You have water proof hats?

A well-felted hat is pretty darn near waterproof.  I have played with felting some, not a lot... the Wizard's hat was a happy fluke!

Ciel

Well, for now we still have late-summer weather, 70F in the shade and sunshine! Of course, sooner or later we'll get what you have, unless it gets stuck somewhere on the way in Ohio or some such - may that happen, LOL...

how wonderful for you It is chilly today but not looking like snow yet.

Sounds lovely, especially in the mountains. Although I like Winter too, I must admit I'm not looking forward to the snow, in any form! A light dusting to cover the pine trees looks nice, but when you get buried, I suddenly find myself looking forward to Spring . . .

Is this the one?  It is pretty warm, and Charlie thinks I should wear it all the time.

There is something magical about snow falling, I'm glad I reminded you of that magic moment of your own.

It's beautiful. Always makes things softer and cleaner.

As long as I don't have to get out and drive in it.

Will you be wearing your helmet hat if it snows Ciel?

your blog reminded me of when I was a small boy sitting

in a dreary old school and suddenly through a small window I saw

these massive white snow flakes falling, It was a joyful experience that

I had forgotten, thank you for reminding me.
