It's what I missed most, living in the Northwest: not merely the odd vine maple in flashy dress... Even here, the groves of golden and peachy aspen, are not the same as the total-immersion oak and maple forests of the Northeast!
I lived in Bergen County, by the way, for 6 years, growing up.

re our Graysome behind bars....LOL...well can't have a stoned cut running loose...actually we have hawks and foxes and a Fisher and wolves...and then on the other hand the birds and Squirrels etc ...yep when he's outside it is the harnes and leash or the cage.

I love visiting your house...think I may take some more pictures from mine. Those sunsets oh my goodness, coffee or wine in hand one would just have to stop and watch.
