LOL - I like that kind of Writer's Group! I agree with TAPS - when the time comes, you'll be ready with an idea!

Knowing you and your history of November writing month, you will come up with something at the last minute and it will probably be the best that you have ever done.

What a busy active life you lead, full of fun and activity, maybe when I grow up I'll be active.

It sounds like a fun group and I love that round we go telling a story game. I used to play it with my Grandchildren. the boys always wanted blood and gore and the girls. Uh Huh...fairies. LOL

Re: Pat

Well it seems like a jolly bunch Pat. I cannot think of anything to could write about unless every time someone saw her reflection she hypnotized herself.

Pat

This is beginning to sound like so much fun, it seems to me that you have your NaNo topic right there: The Writers' Group! Aside from the fun, it also has all kinds of dramatic possibilities...And you can mention me in the introduction when it gets published...

sounds like a lot of fun....here is an exercise you may or may not like to do....sometimes take them home to work on and sometimes we give 15 minutes to work on it

i take several writing prompts and put each one on a strip of paper fold each one up and place into a jar.  everybody takes turn picking one, reads it aloud then the timer begins.  some of our best work came from that.

another one is i cut out pics from magazines that interest me.  i lay them across the table and eveerybody picks one to write about.  so interesting writing came from those as well.

I remember those protests in Seattle back when I was in middle school. We talked about them a lot in current events.
