Oh, Kabu.  I am so sorry to read that Wiley continues to have times of unwellness and problems with his health.  Prayer is all I know to do.  Wishing you the best of everything.

God will take care of Poppy Grandmummy.  You must take care of yourself if you are to remain well and strong enough to help him.  Prayers for you both.

Kabu...

You and Wiley are both in our prayers...we know its hard on both of you and not always easy to be cheerful, but if anyone can, you two will....

Kabu

George and I have just prayed for both of you. We will not stop. We send you hugs. I have a lot of those symptoms. Does he maybe overdo when he feels a bit better. Is the blood pressure high? You are a nurse do you think the dosage is too high since it makes him so groggy and yet he can't sleep? We all love you two and want him better so you too can be well. It is difficult on the spouse who loves one that is in pain or unable in any way.

could there be something in the house that could be causing this?  I wish I had the answer for all his problems

How discouraging. I hope after a night's sleep he wakes up

feeling like his real self again. Never mind the flying brooms and stories for now. Hang in there, sweet lady. :)

I had that feeling once Kabu and called the Doctor out, She gave me some pills and it seemed to cure it. I know it is an awful feeling, poor Bro, he has had a lot to put up with

lately. If it persists I should call the Doctor, that's what they are suppose to be for.

It does not take a lot to upset ones balance as one becomes older and hopefully it is just one of those little symptoms that happen occasionally. I would be careful of encouraging Wiley to drive, his tablets etc. Your pain leaked through onto my blog.

Celebrex

I'm so sorry to hear about Wiley. My mom was having a devil of a time with dizzy spells and feeling like the room was turning over. Felt sick to her tummy from it being so bad. It took us a long time, but in her case, it was the Celebrex she was taking! She was in her late 70s. She has pain but uses other things now. It was only a couple of days and she was feeling fine again. The generic name is celecoxib. It just took the right doc to know about this. Good luck and much love from Oregon to you both. You are like family and I have truely enjoyed your writing Kabu. You are remarkable.

I wonder if there is something in the house he's allergic to--

that might create congestion in the inner ear, though maybe not noticeably in the sinuses, or chest.

Kabu

Don't worry about brooms and such - the main thing is that Wiley is being looked after the way only you can! And maybe there is something to Butterfly's suggestion...

Well I can't wait to read that post, but for now I can think of no one better to be with Wiley than you my friend, your love light will shine the way no matter how steep the road, or how cold the drive. Your smile will warm the heart, and sometimes that is the best medicine of all. Be brave and know that our love and prayers and the love of God is with you...Don't be afraid to ask for His help, He will be there by your side Kabu, you can feel Him.

I just read my newspaper about the homeless man in Boston who returned the backpack full of money. And in his interview, he said he had been living in a shelter for the past five years, after he lost his job as a file clerk at a courthouse. He said he probably could have gotten another job but that he suffers from Meniere's disease, an inner ear condition that causes hearing and balance problems!!!  Has Wiley been checked for that?  Please do so, if he hasn't. What's one more test, right??  Good luck

Kabu, has Wiley ever had problems with inner ear; vertigo? And if he is on blood pressure medication, has there been a change in mg. or his weight? Just some thoughts... which since you have been in the medical field and have talked to the doctors and he has been through so many tests,,,,,,,,we are grabbing at air here!!!  So sorry to hear of him not feeling well after all the things you two have done today. Will keep you both in my prayers.
