Re: Re: JimmyA,

LOL!  A long way to get to a silly joke, but point taken . . .

Re: Kabu,

Those airbeds can be quite nice, if they don't leak.  The cheaper camp mattresses never seem to hold the air.

Last night was quite comfy!

Re: JimmyA,

Your problem with hay is that it harbors other living creatures, too.  And it is essentially, sticks.  So you get itching and poking, and it isn't all that warm.

What you want is nice clean straw!  The hollow stems create a lot of dead-air space, so when you nestle down into it, it is very warm!

I knew a guy once who slept in a haybarn, and he woke up in the morning all hoarse and buggy.

Re: CCT,

I do understand the Laz-E-Boy method of finding sleep. Having traveled by bus, train and plane, I appreciate the value of a proper feet-up, head and neck supported resting place! And, as you discovered, so did I--that eventually, the body wants that flat lie-down. Good idea to clear a path before nesting in the Laz-E-Boy.

Well Ciel I once in a moment of madness bought a bed that would rise fall and do most everything . Yet I could never really say it was a delight. Eventually I bought a Laz-E. Boy. I found with a duvet folded double it was quite nice to lull one to sleep, after a few hours it does not seem quite so comfortable and then I stagger into my original bed.

Believe it or not, I guess I'm one of those rare creatures that has no real preference when it comes to the firmness of their matresses. At the end of the day, I'm so tired that I'd sleep on a pile of hay ( if it didn't poke me all night ) . . .

So important it is to have a comfortable bed.

Ciel

That's quite the evolution, LOL. I like a firm bed, so I sleep on a very wide futon...

you really are a brave luv....we bought a blow up bed for my Granddaughter that was here for a couple of days. It is slowly escaping air. I am thinking of taking it down until or unless we ever want it again. I do hope that you can enjoy a good sleep now.

Low beds are terrible to crawl in and out of. You made a wise choice - I have memory foam on my bed too and love it. Don't know the story, but will look it up. It sounds interesting. Yes - sweet dreams!

It all sounds like a disturbance in the making, feeling insecure

on the bed wouldn't lull this old broad. Although I do fall asleep in the recliner at times. It's good to get this one settled for your comfort. Sweet dreams.
