I am so thankful my wife and I have a gas stove, so we can at least have our coffee when the power goes out! And hey, there's absolutely nothing wrong with jammie days . . .

we are pretty lucky hardly ever lose the electricty here, sorry about your coffee, that is one thing I never learned to like, no coffee for me

Love the idea you'd find a way to make the propane torch work
for your coffee prep. Just an idea, but in the camping section of the big home stores they sell propane hot plates. You can boil water or fry an egg on one of them. But they're no good at all for blogging.

and... to continue Adhor's scolding :-), Why is it that you guys have not learned how to open the blessed door of the garage manually? Hmmm ... seems to me tomorrow first thing you will find that instructions booklet and read it and practice and practice until you have it down pad :-) THEN... you will call someone to help you installed the Blessed generator :-) RIGHT? please!!!!!!! Ok. I'm NOT going to ask what the generator is doing in the garage where you can't get at it when hydro goes out (which it seems to be doing more and more lately, maybe since they raised the rates?).
