Re: C C T "I hope your son does not make this his one and only..."

Well, my friend, I'm a bit confused - did you mean you hope he does not make the poem his one and only, or were you writing about the girl?

I am clever I spotted it straight away after Naut showed the way. I hope your son does not make this the one and only.

Re: Naut, "I should not have given it away."

No problem, Naut. Your hint comes after others have had a chance to think it over. And Taps found the rest of it. :)

When I thought about this later, I realized I should not have given it away - it's spoiling the fun for everybody else! Sorry...

Very nice that Guy has found love, and I'm sure the doggie helped a lot in getting him over his depression! And yes, indeed, the first letters of the first words in the first eight lines form 'I Love You'...

She does like dogs, I hope?? It is easy to tell this is a love poem, and now that you mention the girl, that the poem was written to her, but the "I love you", as in those 3 little words, I didn't find....
