Re: CCT

Yes she is wasted on Archie,  only joking Naut. I think she is a frustrated cleaner.

My grampy years ago used to boil tripe for his greyhounds it was in a stone building and I used to run past it and hold my breath.

Re:

Good advice Pat. I'll probably get a new belt if it works. One becomes a bit tired of getting pains after unusual activity .  Well I did have an apple pie given to me but it had no apple in it that I could see. Birds liked it though.

Re: SAm

Sam I had to take six vines out ,

They were wine making types and made a lot of growth

for a handful of sour grapes.

One has to be ruthless sometimes. Just hope yours goes

through quickly.

I did not know that Arthur used to lift weights...The poem describes quite the event there.

It does seem that folks get what they deserve at the end of the day! I don't blame you for implementing a new system to protect your strawberries!

On the front of the house I am buying it turns out that they are grapes! My brother and I did a careful inspection today and something needs to be done with them when the house is mine because they look like they can be very destructive on the vinyl siding! I will keep an eye on it and when it's mine the changes will be made! I found the sheet for the care of them and where they are located seems to be the worst spot in the entire yard!

Lots of tree trimming but that will have to wait until September at this point! Nice to read your blog again! I had a light day at my place so it left me with time to read a few blogs! sam

love the pinks and don't lift heavy pots please. You old codgers

think you are still young uns. Teddy boys or some'it.

The pinks are lovely, and the arrangement is too. I suspect the

weight belt will help protect your back when you lift. Use your knees, please...  And the poem tickled me, folks trying to outshine one another at the hosting game. Or were they serving dregs for spite?

I see Janey has the touch, LOL...And the soup sounds like the one concocted by the witches in MacBeth, 'Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and caldron bubble'...
