Re: Re:

LOL...keep your snails in your own back yard...when I lived in Sydney I used to throw snails onto the road and enjoy the crunch when wheels went over them.I know most of the annuals that I buy are rubbish but I am happy with some colour.

CCT

I discovered a long time ago that not being neighbourly helps a great deal in living in peace with one's neighbours, LOL...And that other string of words ended up being quite amusing...

Re:

Well you always wanted to do something like that Jay and it does instill discipline. Takes a lot of time after the hard work has been done. Nice to do it for a good cause, I hope you sign the copies.

My wife keeps her Impatiens in the kitchen and it has been blooming big pinkish blossems for the last few months. As far as the book goes, I am quite happy with it. It is both poetry and pros and tells a story. It was written as a help for those with addiction problems. A division of Random House is the publisher, or the printer. If they don't want to put it out themselves they will find another publisher for me. It was more work than I thought, but well worth the effort.

Re: Adnohr

Hush! don't tell anyone I have probably posted all previously but I am going through boxes of oldies and sometimes try to improve a little . Most of the chicks are newcomers, believe me Adnohr it is not possible to write a decent poem every day. Most folk are too gererous with praise, funny we remember little things. I sometimes think of something you said it was Ok in context, but I am not going to repeat it.

Have you posted this poem previously? It seems familiar, but no less amusing because of that. Maybe your neighbor was just having a bad day.

Re: Rumor

You must have been a sailor Rumour, or in the Scouts. I remember tying my first reef knot.

Re: I hope you're feeling happier--

No Ciel I guess you are right, perhaps I am too used to dealing with nice people.

Re:Pat

Thank you Pat, I know what you mean. One cannot win them all.  A job to know what folk are thinking sometimes I suppose we may assume the same as we think ourselves which of course is way off centre.

Re: katray

Thank you Ray for being so cheerful. It is not so easy when one is not on top of the world. We do not have many dogs around about. I have a electronic one in my store shed. Well it makes a din if anyone walks past.,

Re:

Perhaps you have the ratty impatients that are now sold as a durable substitute. I cannot be bothered to tell you the difference as I know you will take no notice and perhaps the disease has not spread to your country. I wish I lived next door to you I could throw my snails over your fence, but knowing my luck they would soon come back again. Be happy.

Re:JS

Perhaps I am too sensitive JS. It may have been nothing to do with me, just general malaise. Have you noticed as one becomes older people try to inflict their own ideas into one's lifestyle. If I cannot have a six-foot blonde as I mentioned in someone's blog I will have a polar bear.

I enjoy reading about the animal life...That is a witty dialouge you have there in the poem.

cc

sounds like your neighbor has a problem, dont take ownership of it.  let her make the next move hopefully it will be an apology.

quite the clever conversation in the poem, you made us all smile.

Very Knotty problems here. Smile dear friend and we will all smile

back at you, just don't hang around that neighbour, sounds like she is the one who's unravelling.I plant my inpatiens in different spots each year.

Neighbor challenges seem to be universal!..:)

I just smile nowadays and wear ear plugs at night (barking dogs who are also owls or something..:)). The poem is so unique and quite fantastic, CCT!

People react to issues in their own head/heart and act out toward

innocent and well-intended others. Shrug your shoulders and let it roll like water off a duck's back. Don't give her any more of your day by worrying it.

If she's stringing you along,
it means she's holding on.

I hope you're feeling happier--

We can't be responsible for how other people read us, and who take offense where none was intended.

Qite a yarn, CCT....

I think the scientist was just stringing Mr. String along and had him fit to be tied, in a manner of speaking....
