Re: FS

Yes FS I shall have to learn to call the wind an old art long forgotten. Keep your hat on.

Re:

Yes I know Jimmy, I was picking spilled nails up and they were muddy and covered in dead slug broth . I thought this is not wise with open cuts. I will remember your advice.

We pay our maids in promises so they are lavish with the polish.

Re: ChiffChaff

Yes Wiley Archie is a rough diamond. I shall have to use sticky plasters on my thumbs.

You are right abour rejection Broth and your drill has been most handy.

Re: Naut

Naut we have slugs as big a small snakes, they look horrible and are reputed to eat even dogs do do. I cannot be seen to drive the cat's away as neighbours might be watching with binoculars.

Re: jeansaw

Well JS. I have started this and I must finish. I can see where I went wrong and I could have probably done it a lot cheaper and more professionally. It is a bit of a problem for me because my friend you who is out of work, needs the therapy to feel he is needed although he pretends. I doubt if maids polish the floor much these days unless there is one of those contraptions that make it easy. Goodness you have just reminded me that it is my day to Hoover, I hate that job, perhaps I will give it a quick skim over today. My sister-in-law hoovers every day, I cannot see the sense in it, but there again I am unmade.

Re: Taps

Hi Taps I know rain is a bit of a trial, but it is so awful when we do not get any, so I suppose we should grin and bear it. I can see from the window that it has been raining overnight and I don't want my garden gnomes trampling over my vegetable bed. They are sure to turn up today, to get their wages in turnips.

This is a great poem.  You seem to be able to poetize any subject at all.
It's been really windy here too, and rain, rain, rain.  Sure would like to see some sunshine.

that usually happens to me, i start a project and then sigh over the cost, of materials that is, i have never had enough to pay help.  although once i did do room and board and got a little help.

wind can do alot of damage hope it settles down for you.

i doubt maids think of perfection, there is so much to do and so little time. at least they dont have to think about rejection.

ChiffChaff

I do hope your project is completed. That was good of Archie to contribute the long poles. You really ought to wear gloves for that work but of course you know that. Rejection is hard to deal with Bro.

Most maids are usually stingy with their polish!  And you should always wear gloves when working with the earth! I think you realize that now . . .

It has been a windy year thus far in the Baltimore Area...Rejection can be very painful.

Re:lion

Thank you lion, you could always buy a few packets of seeds and when it gets warmer plant them a  tray seed compost if you were to  space 20 seeds in an average size seed tray you could let the plants grow to a suitable size before planting out.

Re Pat:

Lo Pat I don't think this sort of tunnel is really Frost proof just a matter of keeping out some of the pests. I hope it keeps the large horrible slugs out I suppose the proof will be shown throughout the season.

Wind it seems is everywhere tossing April fool jokes long after the day.

I hope it doesn't decide to play with your new tunnel and expose your tender little plants to the elements.   Like the lines that work to rhyme rejection and perfection. Nice work!
