I admire that turkey, a good male displaying the good in that gender.  Glad you celebrated another Anniversary with abandon.  Sorry it caught up with you.  I have to watch it on the buffets and dinners  since I have gotten used to smaller amounts!! or I don't feel well for several hours after.

and I feel bad for eating a turkey burger from Carls, but cheese cake is also my weakness

Kabu

Iam glad you had fun. Do not beat yourselves up over a dessert the celebration is far more valuable than a little meat on your bones. Love you both and congratulations!

Hey, it was a special occasion! No one would ever fault you for wanting your own slice of cheesecake! And that boneless chicken dinner sounds good too! You can always go back on your "diet" tomorrow . . .

Kabu...

Happy Belated Anniversary!  And there's no way I could ever walk by a cheesecake   either...and if a turkey tried to take it, king turkey or not, he'd pay....

Sounds like a lovely celebration, and once a year what could it hurt?

It makes for a wonderful memory. :)

In all the years we've lived here, we've only had one wild turkey, Hulda.  But, I think that I am happy that we don't have as many turkeys as we have Canada geese.  That would be an awful lot of big birds crossing the road.

Oooh...Cheesecake with ice cream and topping!  What Heaven!  I love cheese cake with strawberries and/or chocolate. My absolute favourite of all though is German chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and shredded coconut on the top.  My Grammy used to make it that way.

That grilled chicken on a bed of greens sounds delicious though.  Maybe a nice raspberry vinegrette gently drizzled over?

I'm so happy for you and Poppy having that lovely day to yourselves yesterday.  I did miss you so, though!

That's a handsome boy in your back yard.

My friend, Dawna, makes the most awesome Autumn cheesecake....I gladly suffer the consequences after swooning at the taste. Then again, being your anniversary, I expect you had a 'Wiley' reason to swoon even more than the dessert..... Great picture of the stud!
