i think its right about nothing new under the sun.
just different people and different place and maybe a different outcome.
as far as being yourself, that is always best.

I strive to be both original and creative, but you're right . . . it is extremely difficult, primarily because I think we've reached a point when it's all been done! The characters and settings may change somewhat, but the plot's all the same. It's like an artist trying not to paint like Rembrandt or Picasso, or a musical band who hasn't been influenced by The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. But I can still try . . .
