It is so amazing to me how priests and many higher ups in 'church' do not know the Bible. He should have known where he stood with his eternal salvation from the Bible not some one's doctrine. Nobody, according to the Holy Bible has to go to anyone for forgiveness, for his path to Heaven. After Jesus Christ ascended into heaven any person in the whole world can go straight to the Throne of God with their petitions. No one can be excommunicated from God, they just believe it because a priest or preacher said so. God did not say so!

Another reason why priests should be given the right to decide for
themselves about marriage. This may have been aritten many years ago, yet so much of Graham Green is a new as today...continuing problems still unsolved for there are priests who continue to believe in their own Power.
