Re: Kabu

Well you said I ncould do rewrites and that is manna to the laziest person in the world as Arthur calls me. I might do as little something for you to chew as you once said you did not like the next forthcoming character. A delightful little weasel ha ha,

Re: When I want to clip and paste, I use the keyboard shortcut

Printed it off Pat . I probably was not very clear. I paste it eventually from say a scanned article correct or alter but when I want to copy and paste again the original copy is still on the cursor as I say I have tried different ways to shake it off. I am going to try your method as I don't use the keyboard much thank you.

Re: ChiffChaff

Well Wiley how would you like a sandwich filled with paper. No what you need is plenty of green material mixed in my brother Patrick makes enough to keep his garden fertile

I am sure you have tons of greenery tea leaves, veggie scraps, not edible or it will encourage rats if you mix your paper in with that it will break down and make

lovely friable compost. As there is going to be a kerb on peat this year I have top sliced turf and have it in bins I think it will be great for a substitute. Don't try top slicing turf it has given me a pain in the groin.Tip noted.

Re: Sam

Sam I though you said once you would not be allowed to cut it down, I was worried about the roots disturbing the foundations. Some trees are worse than others, My brother has just cut three firs down they were pushing the pavement up on the other side of his wall. Shss, don't tell anyone.

Re: C.C.

Well Just it is really to get them early and they are usually really smooth and tasty. No nasty slug holes, or blight. Of course one really needs a greenhouse because we can have frosts up to June.

A fantastic poem today CC, and of course the prime rose is nice too, but the poem is wonderful.

Green eyes..blaze...lol...

The photo of the primroses is amazing!  Just share some catnip and you'll have a friend for life - or at least until it's gone..:)

C.C.

The primrose is lovely and so is the poem. Oh I would not be able to deal with the rain there. I love growing potatoes and I should think growing them in pots would be great.

I'm afraid I'm not of any help when it comes to the cut and paste process...I liked the cat poem a lot.

CCT

Your poem is fantastic, in every sense of the word - I love it... Oh, and I like your primroses too...

I like primroses, too! And, I really don't know how to help you on your dilemma! Sorry! I thought this was a grand stanza:

Here in my desert

where the sand burns

I sleep and turn

searching for your cool smile

It's the truth!

I laughed when I read your comment on the tree at the house I am buying! Guess what, you won't see me do it either because my brother is in charge of it! Before he moved to Boise he worked for a brother of ours who owns a tree service business so he knows what to do! And, when he first saw the tree his reaction was the same as yours! Now he is excited to have a reason to buy a chain saw this spring! I say good for him because I will benefit as well! LOL! sam

Lovely primrose, you are so very gifted. You talk of compost so I have to ask you. Does shredded paper make a good compost mixed with black earth? That is what I do with the paper and thin cardboard out of the office .In MS Word just highlight the type or paragraph and hit delete.

When I want to clip and paste, I use the keyboard shortcut

Ctrl-X, cuts the highlighted text (picture) and Word saves it to the clipboard

Ctrl-C copies without deleting the original and saves it to the clipboard

Ctrl-V posts the copied/cut object to the new location where your cursor is.

The only way I know to clear the clipboard is to absolutely need whatever bits it holds, and then it will lose that irreplacable data. (Murphy's Law)
