nice to find that you can look around a place and say yes this is Home.
not long now until you are in your side of the Duplex and can settle down. Company when you want it, space for yourself when you need.

The RV sits slightly off-level in my son's driveway still. It has not turned out to be as I had envisioned... especially as my vision for driving isn't what it should be for driving such a thing. And it always has some issue with electrical systems or something...
As to the cataracts, I will probably have the surgery in a year or so to clean em up, which is likely to improve my overall vision, too, or so they tell me. My mom had it done a few years ago, and it really improved her quality of life, which is down to watching tv or the world around her... which isn't bad, up in the Rockies.

It's a good thing you don't seem to suffer from jet lag, LOL, although three hours probably wouldn't do it anyway. I don't experience it either, but one of my bro's takes melatonin to overcome the effects...And a question occurred to me - what have you done with your mobile home? You probably told that story when I was away, before I decided to come back to Blogit...

Yes, on this trip I realized that what used to be home--for over 30 years--isn't any more. And though I am not in my own home yet, the other side of this duplex, it is there and pretty much settled, and only a few weeks before I am there.
