Re:

Not all Lion, but I did see some advertised that do. Sadly some sellers must have a nose three feet long. Their description defies logic. Personally if I really wanted scented flowers I would look round a garden centre and have a sniff first. I am searching for scented carnations as they are rarely sold. Watch anyone buying flowers as they walk away they nearly always bury their nose in them. Sadly it is their funeral.

Re: Adnohr

Yes Adnohr I remember going to this Doctor Crikey I thought he was using a red hot poker silly bugger did not grease the pole. I walked around that day in a daze my legs really hurt and a little friendly dog jumped up and put his paws on my leg and I nearly fainted.I did not let him do it again.

The roses look lovely.  Do your roses smell?  There were 4 bushes planted in my garden when I move in and they look nice enough but have no scent at all

Loving this story, and the flowers are very pretty. I got a giggle from your reluctance to open the letter from the nurse too.

Re:

Sam I used to sell Greenhouses and we transported loads of glass without mishap one must keep it upright to lay it flat is curtains, wrap corragated card or something around it if you like but keep it upright tied in packs. You will find old glass and mine is forty years plus, will not stand a lot of cutting as it seems to be more brittle. Try and get a green house  included on your house insurance to include loss or liabilty in a storm. WE the green team give free advice.

Yes you just might get away with it with Chumpet  he is susceptible to flattery.

No I don't want that other physics the local docs are too mean with the gunge IE grease.

Crikey once ripped never again.

Re: I love the story, a little girl who speaks "bird." It's going very well.

Hello Pat, years ago we always used to give little tips to delivery men, but it seems to have faded out . I should not think the nurses get many gifts. Although the milkmen  seem to get quite a few. The story is Ok at the present I have several pages printed probably more but I don't know where to look.

Katie sure is being kept busy! And those blackbirds - always complaining! Here too! Of course, they're not using the bird bath much these days - they don't want to freeze their little butts off...

That's so neat the rose is doing well! And, the chocolates win! I read your story and I like it! I love glass but it is fragile, so I could relate to that! The glass is my biggest worry with my pending move! I think about how to transport it every day! I hope to use my brother's Ford Explorer even though it may cost a bit more at least I know I have a good shot at saving breakage! The boxes are labelled on all side plus the top with a huge FRAGILE, too! I may be over the edge but some pieces I have had for more than 30 years! sam

congratulations on the roses. If I buy them here they die inside and if I

put them out they would die from cold. I am not into building some sort of hot house, I couldn't reach through the snow.

Wiley and I had a good laugh at your anxiety when you received a letter from the clinic...and of course i read your story. Oh and give Chumpet a hug Auntie Kabu thinks he would love her little old house she painted.

I love the story, a little girl who speaks "bird." It's going very well.

And the roses are very pretty, too. Sweet of you to take chocolates to the nurses, who very much deserve the treats, if my experience with nurses is any indicator.
