CCT

This strikes me as a house-cleaning of sorts, an attempt at purifying the mind and the soul! Of course, that's always a very difficult undertaking...

Re:

Hm, a bit unsavoury Simone, but one can get used to most things. Having done a bit of amateur  nursing as I am sure you have, one soon adjusts to most occasions and makes light of them.

Well I don't profess to be an intellectual Taps. I can work a washing machine though.

Re: I got caught up in the metaphor,

The nurses deserve their wage Pat. If only we had been designed better.

Re: SAm

Yes Sam we all know that hurt, or even the little bit of one. Hope he smiles.

I have had several of those...metaphorically speaking of course.

Re:Kabu

Not really Kabu, just kick them out of sight these days. Going to wash a greenhouse out now. Little bear came from you know who last year.

Re: C.C.

Yes right Justi, truthfully I feel tired most bedtimes. Thank you

C.C.

Tell the memories you are done with them and you are going to sleep soundly and be very rested in the morning. You just have such a creative mind it dislikes to shut down for sleep. Be blessed.

Are you being pursued by some bad memories dear CC?

I don't think that the enema idea is a good one ...never knew anyone enjoy any of the many that Nurse Kabu administered....Cheer up luv...I am sure you gave

'em all a good time.

This one hit home for me! I have been talking with a friend of Jes' who recently got dumped by his girlfriend! He's so sad but I plan to share this line from your wonderful poem:

It would be nice to continue in this theme, but in real life, a good time

dies and a bad time, recovers.

I especially liked the use of theme, gives it a universal flavor! Like I've heard if one writes they will be quoted, but in this case I may or may not keep it anonymous! LOL! I will let you know!  I think it might help him! sam

I got caught up in the metaphor,

bedpans and nurses, etc. It's not a pretty image, and I cannot think it better. I will try to think on the good things.

It took me a couple of readings to see how well done this is.
On the first reading, I think my mind was more focused on the laundry I need to remove from the dryer.  Second reading, I totally forgot about the laundry.

Interesting thought... that one of flushing out bad memories as if they were the unmentionables we get rid of with enemas loll  Imagine how convenient that would be... Make an appointment, get connected to the little hose and presto!  all bad thoughts and lingering annoying memories are gone into the bucket.   An amazing concept!  :-)  Great poem CC  xoxoxo
