I was watching some program recently -- either Forensic Files or the System -- in which they told the story of a doctor who was very well respected and well liked by his patients, the community, and his peers. Turns out that this "wonderful" man injected his mistress with the AIDS virus as well as Hepatitis C because she was going to leave him.
It's true that one never knows who is an abuser or even a murderer.
