Hi Jemmie! I hope you and your family had a blessed and fabulous Thanksgiving? In answer to your question, yes, I do need a wheelchair accessible hotel...but also an accessible shower! I'd be willing to save up for a more expensive hotel, just to see Hawaii once. It's so gorgeous there!

What do you mean by accessible? Wheelchair accessible? I do believe laws now require all buildings to be wheelchair accessible, and most hotels I know of meet the law. Cost accessible? While Hawaii is VERY expensive on the whole, there are some decently-priced hotels. They may not be the best quality, but they give you a place to put your head after a long day playing tourist!

I'm so happy to be reading you again Jemmie! I was worried about you there for a while. Plus, I've missed you! I'm glad you, your husband and son are all doing so well.
I'm sorry you won't be able to visit your Mum and Hanai family in Maui for Thanksgiving, but maybe you could go for Christmas? Or at least make a call to them on Thanksgiving Day? If I had the money to send you to them I would!
I'd love to come to Hawaii some day...I just have to find a accessible hotel first!

Geez, it has been a long time, huh? Hey, new computers are indeed costly, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do! My wife and I ran our Mac down to the last possible minute before getting a new one, and we're so glad we did! You'll just have to make up for it next Thanksgiving!
