Ah yes, summer is completely gone...I've lived in the Baltimore Area my whole life but have never gone to see the Preakness horserace.

Pat pretty well said it. TAPS did too...and CCT made me giggle! Anyway - I'm reading - keep writing whatever you feel like writing. I'm an avid fan!

What a joy to read this Grandmummy. I can only picture in my mind the horrors of having to drive with a teenaged son! Thankfully, Mum and Dad never went through that with me. I simply refused to learn to drive then-and I refuse to do so to this day. The very idea just makes me too anxious, and I know that kind of reaction would just pose to many dangers to myself and others.
Congrats though to grandson on his 16th birthday and a very happy one from me!
I know I gave poor Mum my share of her white hairs!
As for Mr. G, he is as adoreable as ever!
Never mind those wretched winter winds howling outside your door...let the love you share with Poppy warm you from the inside out. And give him a big 'ole kiss for me.
As for the sportsy stuff on tellie...I don't blame you. I never could bring myself to watch any of that either.
Love you.

Well, you know I would read just about anything you write. Whatever it might be, I'll be there.

Your love life, well you asked. Only joking I think you could make a good story for children out of the Gnomes, sort of brush up their gloomy little characters import some Gnome brides from a warm clime, put a bit of fire in their bellies, they might try shaving and slimming to capture a bit of totty.

It's not only the stories you tell, the lessons about Australia's folkways,
or even the painted rocks. It's the heart, the joy of life that comes through and warms your readers. What I want to read about is whatever you want to write.

I would think for a writer of your talent that most anything that is interesting to you, you can make interesting to us, the reader. You are the best and in that there is no doubt.
