I'm sure that I did not live through the plague. I imagine it was horrible beyond imagination...I like the twist on Old King Cole.

We used to play the Ring Around the Roses game, and I can remember hearing later that it was about the Black Death. You're right, CCT - writers can pick something up and go with it; turn terrible tragedies into satire...and make nursery rhymes from desperate situations, or comedies from lost loves.
