It is wonderful that you are doing something you love, and just as important to realize how you can help people by doing that something. I enjoyed this post too.

dsm tchr

Nice post, good life you have there. I was happy that Obama seemed to have an uplifting debate last night. I can't help but feel that all the ugliness of silent cowardly racism will do him in........

I agree with Taps & Kabu - this is a really good interesting post...

I always loved any job where I got the chance to be creative, to write or come up with new ways of getting routines organized. I would have loved teaching, and know this is true because I've subbed a time or two, and volunteered. I worked with teachers at Seattle Central - my post-retirement office job. It's my feeling that teachers create the world we'll be living in by showing students the possibilities along with the facts. I hope your daughter finds joy in her career as you have. :)

a really great post...I started my nursing career late and thanked my God

every day that i drove to work. I had done heavy jobs that I had hated and that were difficult to fins much meaning for, and going to University late is still helping my family. Son and grandchildren believe that they can do it too. Son now has a degree and a MBA...
