Re: lustorlove

This is all I know:

"I guess my darling  '95 Subaru Impreza is not going to outlive me.  I was so hoping that she would because I was totally satisfied with what she has done for me for many years.  But that's the way life goes...human life, animal life, mechanical life, plant life....nothing lasts forever it seems.

The morning at the auto inspection garage confirmed that the transmission is going quickly.  They said it could go completely at any time.  Not only that, but they gave me a long list of other things that absolutely have to be fixed, if I am going to go to the trouble of getting a new transmission--$700 worth of things.  I asked them if, in their opinion, the car was worth spending all of the money to get her fixed and they immediately said "No!".  So I brought her home after making a couple of stops on the way."

I think you read it in that blog post already since you commented on the post.

Re: dsm_tchr

I'm not sure what all they dug up since they did it in the night, but I think it included some kind of nasty germie stuff of some kind as I have been sickly all day and spent most of this lovely sunshiny day in bed.  I still feel dizzy even listening to the debates.  The voices seem to be droning on and on in my head.

I loved the pumpkin story and hated the car story. Oh I am happy it is in good condition. I am so sorry yet another mechanic with a one cell brain lied to a smart woman. Thank goodness you have sons.   Thanks to son.

Such fun!..:)

I've had my pumpkins chucked and splattered all over my driveway by the tricksters, lol. So much for the fancy carving! So now I just set out whimsical faced electric ones for the little treat seekers.
Good news on your car but I surely can relate about gas prices. Have a restful, nice day, TAPS...
