Re:

Well nice to have someone smiling Adnohr I have got to think of something to say, to make you smile. Oh yes the solicitor I asked for a quote said £180 an hour plus VAT. Not bad if you can get it .

Re: The word that comes to mind after reading your romantic poet

Well the latin version means wandering Pat I seem to remember it quoted somewhere  so you are on the button. I think the trouble we hype people up a kind of hero worship and disappointed is inevitable. The latest being the writer of Harry Potter.

Yes, I find that the expectations of each generation increase. I wonder in the long-term what this economy will do to those expectations...A beautiful poem you got there.

I used to wonder about my brains ability back when I had a brain...I think. But in all honesty CC. I really liked the first poem.

What a beauty you posted! I do think each generation wants more and more but I don't see them working hard for it either! sam

ChiffChaff

I don't wonder about it, I know my mind doesn't work to full capacity. I've also arrived at the point that I accept the present capability of my brain the way it is. Yes indeed, love doth hold me daily in it's thrall, so now it's back to Kabu and do something new.

ah sweet emotions and sweet infidelity, well women are just as fickle as

men but i say thank you for the rose as I saunter on down high street breathing the beauty of the flower as I window shop for shoes.

The word that comes to mind after reading your romantic poet

is "vagary." I may not have spelled it right, and maybe it's not exactly what I mean -- I'm thinking that a man can be as fickle as any girlish little thing, and in his mind wander off on flights of fancy to another flower after he's picked one.

CCT

Love the poem - and my mind is revving in neutral and not getting anywhere...

Flattery will get you everywhere?? Another poem to make me smile. And yes - emotions make the world go round...off kilter often...but still round.
