It sounds like it has some good features for you.  It won't hurt to look.  Happy Cooking1

I'm going to have to get into ball or football, I guess...seeing that the NHL isn't providing any distraction right now. You know the right house will come along. I was disappointed too when that one didn't work out - both the price and the house itself seemed just right.

It is always confusing looking at so many homes. Good luck with this one

I hope you are lucky this time Sam, if you really like the house. Good old Mum she can soon rustle up a dinner party. Don't waste the scraps

Timely quote; Thank you for sharing, Sam...

Sounds as though the house shopping is proceeding nicely and oh yes, those grocery prices - ugh! Do you have any Aldi's there? They are much more reasonable and you don't have to buy in bulk. The brands are not the usual ones, but everything I've bought has been good; some items are even better than the name brand, including canned goods. And their produce department items are fresher than Wal-Mart!

Yes we had a smoky summer as well. So bad we could not turn on the swamp cooler. I do hope you find a home that you fall in love with Sam.

I am enjoying this house hunt with you. This one sounds like it has a connection for you, but as you say see it then comes the excitement. Be blessed in what you are looking for.

Good luck with the house

I know about the groceries.  You have to pay a 100 dollar cover charge just to get in the store.LOL

just we two and we spend so much of food...we eat heaps of fresh fruit

and I suppose that helps to keep up the prices. Of course Mr. Graysome costs a fortune....  Good luck with the house.

I can remember back when I fed a family of six on $100 a week and fed them well.

The house sounds like it has potential...It's been awhile since we've seen a Triple Crown winner. I'm pulling hard for the Orioles.
