CCT: Somebody stole my happy face file.
You deserve to be frightened! I'm just a simple farm girl and you start talking about the King and Nelly and oranges! That's too sophisticated for me.

Re my Sestina
LOL, that's exactly what happens when you produce a Sestina. Your brain explodes.

To Form or Not To Form; that is the question.
Hey, Chuck. There's nothing complicated about following the form in poetry. What's difficult is taking the Time to just do it! Once you understand the form, then the work begins. I am teaching myself in the past 2 years by writing/researching online each day. I did not start writing poetry until 2 years ago. I did enroll for FREE online course at Univ. of Pennsylvania this month to learn to "close read" Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman and become acquainted with the forerunners of today's modern poetry. There are 30,000 students in my class. I'm dumbfounded by today's poets who follow NO FORM. Don't understand a word they say! Have you read Rae Armantrout's "The Way"? Do you know what she said?

Lovely  I wish to learn the rules of poetry but I always find it hard to follow. So when I write I really don't follow the directions. I am happy for you that you are taking the classes.

Re:
Well, now...you don't know what I have access to, now do you, little one...heh, heh, heh...
I'm 'ner in fear of your potatoes; nor your toads...

I guess you deserve one Wilhelmia, a ticket I mean. I liked this poem the second time round, I must say you give good value for our bucks. I do potato spells, well I know someone who swears by them, but it is more of a fatal concoction and I should not think you have access to a large toad and the usual pot. One day if I can find it I will post a simpler spell in poetry, but they are all quite dangerous.

Re: misspelled words
Will be glad to note them for you in the future.

I love Lenard. By the way, at the beginning of my book I asked for help with these poems that are going in my book with the heading of (page00). If you find misspelled words please feel free to bring them to my attention as I am dyslexic and have a hard time with spelling and words out of order. The whole reason I am posting these poems is for critique. I use spell check but need your help as well.

Wilhelmina is an interesting character. I love the imagery in this poem associated with her. Some haunting imagery you got there...I like Leonard Cohen's voice a lot.
