I fully agree with your answer to Annicita! And I am convinced that many of those rioting have little or no understanding of their own 'religion'. It is acording to Muslim sources (e.g. Bukari's Hadith) that Muhammad was a bandit, (plundering the Mecca caravans), a killer (among his deeds the beheading of all Jewish males that had reached puberty, in 627, at Medina), and a pedophile (he 'married' Aisha when she was six, and consummated the marriage when she was nine.)
The Koran, the work of many, it's not just Ol' Mo's, is the basis for the most intolerant religio-political ideology the world has ever seen, bar none. There are good reasons that the Mufti of Jerusalem, Hussein, was Hitler's honored guest in Berlin throughout WWII, from where he spouted propaganda and recruited Muslims for the SS.
All one needs to do is show what Islam itself says in order for people to understand what it's all about! But of course when you do that, Muslims will riot...

One of the best showings of The Glass Menagerie I have ever seen was when Son #3, Phil's dad, played Tom Wingfield in his college years. I know, I know, it's just because I was his mother. But, they all did a really good job and I loved it. Actually Phil's mother was in the wings working the lights and stuff like that. That's where son met her and they began to date. It wasn't too long before they were married....after summer theater of Pirates of Penzance and Kiss Me Kate of course.

Re: Annicita, one of the unfortunate effects of all this is that we must
all, apparently, walk on eggs to not incite the Muslims. We must not practice the freedom of speech that is the hallmark of democratic society, not even at home.
I say, what we need is more incitement, more insulting, more offending until the people who are raging through the world in protest of something as stupid and meaningless as one lousy bit of lousy film, are exhausted to the point of realizing that they can't fight everyone who criticizes them.

i am very saddened by the events that occurring around the world because some religious zealot decided to incite the muslims once again. it wasnt enough what happened in afghanistan with the burning of the quraan? who made him judge and jury about what is a proper religion or prophet? in jesus' day he was considered a rebel and many other names not very nice....this man is not even sorry for all the violence he has sparked but most likely he is doing a jig with his pockets ringing with all those pieces of silver from all the free publicity he is getting for his movie oblivious to the death and destruction
