Hiya CC - how are you my friend. Well I have read your poem before so I am more inclined now to see you in your tights --lol, hear, hear for that!! Been busy with my girls leaving and hence my on and off writing! and don't you now go being lazy CC.....

I sometimes feel the same way.  Sadly these days I lack the time to both post and write far too often and so my Blogitting has become sporadic :(

Re:

Hi FS I often wonder how you make time to cover, well so many projects.
Perhaps you could concentrate on those who take an interest in your work.
I expect you will be expected to take on more responsibility in the future
I suppose it is okay as long as you enjoy doing it, but that may not last for ever.

Re:Ray

Believe it or not Ray we do get the occasional bursts of sunshine it has been far and few this year. Perhaps as we get older we remember our childhood more vividly. I seem to remember my balloons all going pop before they became airborne.

Re:Pat

Hello Sam back into the fray. Yes probably a little bit of enticing exaggeration runs through our minds when we experience such an in inviting and unfinished experience

Re: Tis the last Rose of Summer..now you have me singing something

Please don't start singing Kabu, perhaps you're thinking of the Yellow Rose of Texas .

Re: Jay

Sorry about that Jay for some reason one are two of printing out like that and I have not got the energy to change them. The best thing to do is not to read them

Re:

No Taps I think there is a last bud of summer or of one or two more peeping out but there was nearly a frost this morning, it is so annoying we usually get an early frost and then nothing for a while I think it is to do with the moon full moon clear sky frost.

Re: CCT

Pannion wrote on Journal Wiley she had a terrible pain in the night and we have not heard of her since.

Re: thank you Justi

When one is little watching the balloon slowly drift away is a minor tragedy when I was little I had a pig's bladder but I cannot remember what happened to it

I loe both of these. I loved the balloon and I wish you could have told the little good bye but I think she told you.... I loved the rose and the grass moved so gently behind it.

CCT

That rose is a most beautiful poem all by itself and who is Pannion?

What an absolutely divine rose.  I don't like to think of it as the last one.

You most often please me CC except when you post a poem to small to read, but I have a cure, a glass that magnifies...Now if only I could remember where I put the darn thing.

Tis the last Rose of Summer..now you have me singing something

that I can only remember the first line of. I sha;ll have to Google the words or fly off somewhere with your balloons.

Regarding the second poem there was a time when I met someone very briefly and as we drove away and I caught his eye I felt the same, I wish I could have said good-bye too! All these years later I can still see him and I staring at each other as the distance became greater and greater! Alas, we move on! sam

A blushed rose for the end of Summer, and a most enchanting One!  I Liked floating around, sometimes precariously, as a baloon.  This one drew me in on the action.

I am now busily imagining your photo in striped tights

along with a wizard's cape and a pair of Aladdin's pointed shoes. Lovely rose.

I myself am planning on scaling back on my writing...I wonder what happend to Pannonion too. That was quite an entry to leave us with...The balloon is an excellent metaphor there.

The rose appears to have a ray or two of sunshine emanating

from the nucleus; stunning! And I enjoyed the whimsical effect of the poem, tho' yes children do become sad when a balloon must fly away. Kudos, CC!
