Re: JimmyA

I've done it too - it's an easy thing to slip into if you aren't careful.  Thanks for reading

Re: WileyJohn

No problems, my friend, it's easy to lose track of which page you're commenting on - I've done it

Re: Kabu

Thank you, my friend, but this one is very much an exercise in imagery and empathy - I was attempting to put myself in the shoes of somebody I see often on the way to work

Thanks Bill... I think the human nature lions are more common

Re: C_C_T

I think it's one of those Matrix "there is no spoon" moments - you really just have to understand that there is no cage and find another way.

Gosh, the poor fellow.  I hope he was able to forgive himself before the end

I think some people might call that a form of transference . . . taking out their frustrations on someone else to hide their own anger or despair. I know I've been guilty of that on occasion. Nicely written.

A deeply unhappy picture. I hope it's just an exercise.

You have got to get out of the cage lion, not so easy when one makes the bars themselves, good poem.

I know that man...or did.  In his constant rage, he had a stroke, a bad one.
He lived long enough to spend several weeks of "time in a bottle" ruing and wishing.
You are so good at this.
