well i got quite the deal on this taxi fare...not so much on the ride from the airport. it was 15 or less for 45 and this was 2 hours for 67

It was just a bit sad that you could not have found your relatives after going all that way. Although sometimes it is best to just leave the dream as it is and I wonder about the taxi fare.

i dont know if any of my family has any info about where she lived there.....hopefully when i go back again it will be on a different day than sunday and with my hubby so he can help me make inquiries about my family

What a wonderful thing to travel to the land of one's ancestors and experience the place where they lived and breathed and walked. It is a very special feeling, even if the house is no longer there, or can't be identified.
