I adore the work of you new hobby! I think people get out of hand in the USA when the heat is up! It's not all that bad in my desert because it's nothing but heat and one knows that moving here! It's good Wiley is taking this in stride and doing what makes him most comfortable! Never easy to do though! sam

Everyone in the world may have to adjust to higher temps the way it is going.  Not easy for me either as I do not do extreme heat well at all and get a fogged, bothered head in it.  You seem to be going at this rock painting and have found a summer occupation!

This rock is my absolute favorite! This heat is awful - 104 today. However, in 1981, we had 30 straight days of over 100. We hit 108 & 110 several times. Yuk!!

This is one of the hottest summers that I can recall.

The rock looks lovely. Thank the Lord for that phone call from his daughter. I hope everything will be alright and fine and smiles fill the heating atmosphere soon. Take care.

I am glad reading our tales is helpful for Wiley to relief some of his grieve.  I love the rocks you need to sell them to a store on consignment

I thought you always had a short temper Kabu, but I expect it is comparing it to these frog like conditions that make us croak literally. Poor Wiley, it was lovely his daughter ringing, don't let him get depressed, isn't it a pain in the ass at times, things we have to put up with. Your rocks are really cute, do you think they should go under a shelter of some kind to protect them from the weather. Oh I saw two adorable little figures yesterday they were lying on a little grave, a baby's I expect, I hope no-one takes them, you know what a lot of rogues are around.

Some people just don't seem to realize how important a simple phone call can be. I call my mom, who lives in Texas, at least once a week. An occasional kind word and some expressed concern can really make a difference in a person's life. I hope Wiley is doing better. And as for that "spit" of rain, our ground is very dry too, and we also need a lot more than just a spit! In fact, torrential may not be a bad thing right about now . . . at least for a while!

Glad the daughter called, Dear Kabu

And oh that rock is special! I've noticed short tempers while out and about around here too; easier to stay in and keep your cool..:) Enjoy the day...

I had never thouught about the effects of too much sun.  It's never been a problem here...

that was a good kind of call.  I'm glad to hear Wiley is managing ok in what must be the hardest of times

There has been so much violence in kansas City this summer.  I don't blog about it because it is so ugly (like a parent hitting a toddler in the head with a cast iron skillet for one of many).

Kabuiepie-;)

Yes that call from Erin was very special, and she is shaken with the realization that she is 52 now, and understands me not going the drive to Montréal at 76. I just love your rocks darlin'.

The heat must be really bad Kabu. Your rock is a masterpiece and I'm glad Wiley John's daughter contacted him.

In that flowers seem to have "faces" I see little families blooming

on your rock. It's so cute. As for the comfort Wiley gets from friends here on Blogit, it's only fair to give back what he's so quick to give to others.
