That sun had better quit stepping on the flowers like that!! Nice image, same effect here in sweltering heat records for all time.  I knew we would have to pay for the warm winter, but not this much.

I know what you mean on the heat! My flowers are drooping, too and we will be approaching triple digits by the weekend! There isn't much relief coming as you very well noted! The haiku is on the money, too! sam

Kabuiepie-;)

Loved your Haiku darlin' and the gardens are beautiful. The game I was playing is called 'Minesweeper'. My mind was swept out by the kids I fathered.

I guess the flower bed needs some water! That ol' sun just keeps beatin' down on us! Stay cool!

well that is one advantage to the English summer - I have not needed to water the plants yet

Yes dear it is so hot and dry here. Another record for us and we are needing rain so badly. Our plants are thirsty all the time. Pansies only do well for us in the winter. I think it is smart to go to perennials. That gardener C. C. was talking about, I want one of those!

Thank you we did enjoy our day of FREEDOM and hope more and more people understand we may lose it if we are not very careful.

Brr it's chilly outside have you ever tried different perennials I think they would root deeper and be more drought resistant. Pansies really don't like the heat. you need a regular gardener just tell him what to do as you sip a cool drink.

I certainly agree with you, my garden is soaking up the water this year, and the bugs got half of my pole beans...Grrr. Nice little Haiku.

It was so hot down here, I turned on the a/c in the car. Usually I just open the windows...

It's been hot and humid, but rainy here in FL and we've been having some crazy hailstorms.  sweet post :)

We just came in from shooting off fire works. It is so humid and miserably hot. We are all drenched in sweat, even the little ones. But, oh, did we have fun.

Can you believe it, Kabu, today was our first warm, sunny day of summer on the Island!  And it looks promising for the next few days.  We've not had the heat that you've been experiencing.
