All good ideas Kabu. I read somewhere that you should always acknowledge a child - whether you know them or not. A smile, how are you?, even a simple "Hey" because you never know what that child is going through in his life. I think that would go for everyone not just a child.

Well I once said hello to a stranger and had to get a court order to remove her.
I have a cement hedgehog is that any relation to a Gnome?
My brother said I was not eating enough, so I stayed to dinner.
I don't know which to buy a breast plough or a stair lift.

A wonderful post as fires are spreading all across the west. We lost some homes just south of town last night and many more in central Utah. I also want to say good bye to you Kabu. Thanks for being my friend.

I wish that you could adopt the gnomes that live downstairs in the basement apartment. They don't even have a good view of nature, and they are never moved. One guards the sliding glass door of the sub-teranian tiny stairwell and one sits behind a bush. I feel sorry for them.

Love your tried & true method for avoiding misery.
I am convinced we get back what we give out, and if we can be pleasant to others.... well, you know. Love the little fuzzy guy -- my granddaughter Amy was so into Koala bears when she was 14-15 and younger. These days it's "Hello Kitty." Teenagers! Ya gotta love 'em.
