I once bought a box full of ladybirds to deal with the aphids that were attacking my roses. But for some reason they didn't like it in my garden - they were all gone after a few hours. Propbably not enough nettles...

A lady rang me up yesterday evening and ask if I could spare three pots of pinks for a hospitable. I said OK and then she said 'Am I being rude asking you this?' So I repied I nonchantly. 'No as long as you are not standing in the buff.'

Came over to check on you and glad it isn't the flu and its only that women's thing you spoke about..lol. Well take it easy with the letters, you might just run yourself down with the length of it..Take care and did you like change the pic of the flower here?? thought I saw a red one before!
(try calling instead of writing sometimes CC - it helps in bonding..LOL)

Much better than the grim reaper! A novel way to landscape the grounds. I hope you know I am sort of addicted to olives now, but am glad I they are hightly credible health food. I am going to try the sardines yet.

Well Taps i always brought Archie's old Dad's scythe out for an hour or so until a couple of years ago. The type Archie uses is a miniature version, If ever I see that other old boy I'll kick his ass.

I don't think I have ever seen anyone swing a scythe since my Dad used to do it when I was young. Now it's all riding mowers and electric hedge trimmers and powered equipment of all kinds. Oh yes, I forgot, The Grim Reaper still has one I think.
