Hi .. Beautiful Flower .. Hopefully you will remain well. We've had so much rain here and storms are still going on. I hope my ower stays, we've been having outages and a abundance of on and off outages that always seemed to happen when I came to blogit. I have sorted the weeds from my flowers and have some buds tha should be open by next week ( I'll take pics to post.) Decided to just have fun watching the strawberries appear and disappear .. Bought some at the grocery store.

Re:

Go on Shobana you would not be happy with cold water up to your knees. I don't think you would be the gold-mining type. I see you in the estate office weighing out the gold dust. I would be hiding in the rocks waiting to rob the stagecoach.

Re: Chiff.Chaff.

Wiley bugger it I am not going to think about it this year it has been haggled about but no longer a fire risk. Yes be careful, I wish it would rain and then I could do my bookwork;but that is going to be very depressing this year.

Re: Pat

Pat I use mainly chicken manure pellets, but I make sure it is well before harvest, I did see a man had caught a nasty bug from compost, I was fortunate to be able to get a couple or so tons of Norfolk top soil, so I am using that sparingly as peat is becoming hard to obtain.

Re: Adnohr

Adnohr         You make things sound so homely. I don't really feel very romantic, but it is pretty easy to slip back in time and feel what it was like, well occasionally.

Re: Kabu

Yes poor old Arthur nearly blew a casket, he is fearful of germs and caterpillars,we keep well isolated. Archie is always dramatic he once said he went to the toilet 32 times after having one of those barium drinks.

Re Sam:

Goodness Sam Archie is not my brother Arthur would have been in quarantine.I am glad that you have finished the hard work, I have given up worrying about the lawn, so that is one problem solved.

Very correct on the germs of today! They seem a bit more intimidating! I feel bad for your brother because diarrhea is so awful! I will be back in the morning to catch up on your blogs! I spent the day working on my garden and I am worn out! I am planting it on Sunday and I am very excited to get it in! The yard work is almost done and then it's maintenance for the rest of the summer! I hope he gets better soon so you can get your lawn mowed! Now may be a good time to find someone, just kidding! sam

You are so right we do not know where the darned germs are coming from. Hope you will not get this. I loved the blend of the three colors on the flowers. A great sweet poem.

actually I think that is how to write a poem, it is so romantic. Poor

Archie, he seems to have been really ill and I am just hoping that he is gone past the infectious stage.

I guess squirts is just as good a term as any, and appropriate at that; doesn't take much for a visible in the imagination,

Once again a lovely poem about innocence...and so romatic.

I just read about chagas.  Now it's the squirts.  I wonder what's next.

We hear about contaminated veggies in the market that cause

what they used to call "summer complaint," thinking then it was a natural part of life where fresh veggies are fertilized with manure. Now it becomes hot news and a recall of millions of pounds of fresh produce. I hope Archie feels better by now, and the situation passes. :)

Chiff.Chaff.

Archie is having his problems and I hope you don't catch anything especially if you've got to cut the grass yourself, I've done too much today and am off for a few hours snooze before supper.
