Re: Jay

Hm Jay no idea, unless it shows a good worker. I think my cherry tree was finished this year by the hail, but I hope to freeze some black ones.

Re:Justi

Well they could be related to Hippos Justi anything can happen on bloggit, we never get any really nice peaches I suppose they are shipped over under ripe, but fruit is never the same as when freshly plucked. Thank you.

I confess that I live entirely on fruits and leaves  in the summer months

posted by lionreign on May 25, 2012 at 4:09 AM | link to this | reply

I seem to eat a lot of fruit in the summer too CCT, I am waiting for the price of cherries to go down at present and I see that the price of raspberries have dropped to within reason. I sometimes ponder why some men ask for such big hands, but to each his own.

You do not bore me. I  have short concentration and have to look again but that is because they are so interesting and so well done. Do you think these two lovely  Hippos will have little ppos soon? Such a romance as you can create out of anything. Cream on fruit, no well unless it is fresh peaches I like them with cream. Have a wonderful day.

Re: Pat

Wow Pat that would be something, it would make a good fantasy story 'THE Monster  Within,' Now you really should eat plenty of fruit. Wouldn't it be funny a lady reclining on a couch being fed grapes by a monster.

Re: we should all be prepared to see the beauty within...well it might be there

Well Kabu I am not really very sweet I moan about growing the plants every year and now yesterday I  actually got a new customer, but I felt sorry for her because her hubby died and I remember her family.

Re: adnohr

Sorry dear I don't know any talking pigs, well that's not true I know one and I shall have to blame  you if  I post that rewrite again. Of course some of these oldies are not very discreet they tell the next door neighbour and I don't really want more on the books, but it is a bit difficult to refuse,

ReSam:

I adore the close to the poem! And you don't bore me! I like my fruit without cream or anything on it actually! sam

I really hope that the poem is a love story between boars...or at least big pigs! I agree wit Kabu - it IS sweet of  you to give plants away.

Hi .. Eating fruit is very healthy. I also eat fruit as it comes fresh. Last night there were 6 strawberries and none to be found this morning. The thief had to be a early bird or one of the night prowling critters. It is very hot here and will continue for several days. The heat and humidity are tiring. Take care of you!

it is warmer here too and my blooms like yours are starting to look good. well some are, of course the bulbs are gone.

No dahlias this year, I forgot to lift the bulbs. The Mums are dying back but they will come again at the end of Summer. How sweet you are to give plants away. Everything is becoming so expensive, older people really are struggling.

Our heat comes tomorrow, says the weather man, and will last for no one knows how long.  Today is fine, even a bit cloudy and everyone is hoping for a bit of rain.  I like your monster poem.  Reminds me a bit of Shrek and his wifey.  My Grandson Phil loves the Shrek movies.

Ah, if only the monsters looked on the outside

the way they later prove to be on the inside. Maybe we'd make a better decision about where to invest our hearts.

As for Arthur's fruit and cream -- I use the fruit as an excuse to have the cream.

Chiff.Chaff.

The heat is bad here so I'm staying inside in the AC so I can breathe. Go create your monsters in the heat and eat your fruit old chap.
