Glad nothing was serious about your spill.  Olives are thought to be healthful in general, but I am not sure about aches and pains.  I am looking into aloe or sun chlorella pills for some of mine.  Bananas and potatoes have potassium for mild muscle cramps.  Some Nice thoughts in your poems.

Chiff.Chaff.

Terrific poetry and flower as expected. Sorry you've had a tumble and do hope you can get a handle on the grass cutting. We've managed to hire a neighbours  kid to do it this year. Have a grand day.

Re: RAY

Hi Pat well that is good news and I have bought some today flavoured with lemons.

A little mean streak in me made me buy some cheapies until Arthur explained the treatment they were given. I shall see how many calories are in two treacle tarts I recklessly bought today, I went shopping at half seven and it was lovely no queues  no traffic. Thank you .

Re:Bright Irish

Yes I'll be more careful. I don't want the expense of a stairlift. I know we use to put warm olive oil in our ears for earache so maybe it is worth a try. Thank you

Re: RAY

WEll obviously you have cracked it Ray and eat plenty of tomatoes I have never had much luck with the Big boy type. I try to save a couple of cuttings of the medium cherry ones, over Winter(a really hard task) and take cutting from them in the Spring. Thank you

Now Kabu, you are making me nervous, I really think I shall tougher after my experiences and all the remedies that have been forthcoming. Yes I understand you and Wiley not  doing the grass, but you must remember your combined ages are nearly double mine.

Re: Justi

It is alright dear, I shall be more careful in the future anyway I think I have nobbled most of the grass. Archie will be back from his holiday soon and I will ask him he wants the job or not. It is no good saying Yes, if he is going to keep messing me about.

Oh dear calia I hope you don't have to carry water, it is always pretty dry in borders, really in the   Autumn a good dressing of compost would have helped Thank you.

No adnohr no problem I was just being clever. If it had been our Arthur he would [probably be in plaster. The old breast plough builds strong bones, but it is going rusty these days.

Re: Jay

Well Jay I would not mind giving my months blogit earnings to to get an estimate, but gardeners with one leg want £20 an hour and I always reason it dies down in Winter.

just kidding

I too often think that I will hire some kid to cut the grass nest season, or the one after that, but I just know I would go over it again and therefor over spend. As for your muscle pain and your bumps maybe you could get Sam to send you her patch, I understand she is not useing it any more, and yes, olives are fattning, unles they are in martinis, which I think would help your muscle pain too...but never patch and drink CCT...I think?

A great read once more, CCT. Worrisome (you falling), sensual (poem number 1) and witty (poem number 2). Mustn't forget the beauty of the picture!! A fulfilling post by all means!

I do not know much about olives and their effect on muscle aches...Being in someone's arms can be so soothing.

I really liked close to your whisper in the first poem! And, the second poem, it can be difficult how to tell someone you love them especially when one is unsure how it will be received! I have no idea on the olives! Now you have me craving them, lol! sam

Olive oil itself fights pain--about 3 1/2 tablespoons of EVOO (the more green color the better) is equal to a 200 mg tablet of ibuprofen.

I do believe in slim olive-eaters (I do!  I do!  I do!)
It is just important to not get carried away with it the amount.  I have trouble with stopping once I begin on them.

I love the rhyming and wittiness of these poems.

Now what are you doing getting into such situations when there is no one about? I want you to take better care. If you are not happy with the lawn get someone else. You can make it alright with him. He will have more time to do what he wants. This is getting to be a hassle for both of you. I want you to take better care of yourself.

I loved the poems particularly the one where you are programmed. That was great. You are such a wordsmith. Be blessed my friend.

enjoyed the poetry but very worried about you. Please have that hot shower/

bath and use the muscle cream to rub the sore spots. and forget the lawn. If Archie won't do it, someone else can. We have given our mowing to next door and the little boy is so proud on his mower tractor. Please look after you...Naut will tell you that I have this broom AND I am not above riding it!!!!!

CCT

I love olives, especially in martinis! And even if they make you fat,  they're good for you, so they tell us, because they contain good fat! So I'm drinking lots of martinis to get all that really good and healthy fat...And as always, I think your poems are super...

The poems are classic..YOU!..:)

So marvelously penned and such a delight to read. Oh my, easy on the feet there! Falls are tricky - we usually try to shield head and face but some body parts must take the damage. I am not an olive eater at all; sorry. For aches and pains, long soaks in very warm baths do the trick for me. Maybe followed by aspirin and a relaxing position either in a comfy chair or bed. I love to get all settled in and read, read, read..:) Hope some of this helps, Dear CCT and hoping you find relief...

Flowers Hi .. I agee with Pat's message to you. I've also heard that warm olive oil rubbed into a sore joint or joints is a pain reliever. Take care and be senible with your labors!

Olives are fattening. They're about 15 calories apiece (regular)

and more for the jumbo sized ones. But they bring heart-healthy fat, antioxidants, etc., and are well worth the salt, in my humble opinion.
