Good luck with your 3 projects. I'm a lousy debater, I try to stay away from religion and politics altogether, being a bore is at least peaceful. LOL

Yes mostly, Troosha..:) I have been in a few "prickly" situations here over the years simply because I disagreed and tried to explain why I did. But I only complained to management once because it was a direct threat to others, though a couple of other times I had justifiable reason to complain - my name was used without permission in posts and in a belittling manner and another time an e mail I wrote was plagiarized and twisted into something ugly, then re sent to a good friend.

I don't "hate" anyone but I have come to identify a few people over the years who were simply toxic in my life and I chose to disconnect from them. (About the comments you may get within Blogit on a controversial subject - we're a polite bunch, aren't we?)

RAY you won't get criticism here or rarely a disagreement, because it will soon be shouted down by your fans. I never remark on religion or politics, if I wanted to. I would do as you are doing and join a group who feel motivated to do so. Not only that Ray we do seem rather laid back in UK. Perhaps our miserable history gives us no reason to feel motivated to express any great passion towards anything more than physical comfort.That is not to say I do not enjoy reading your opinion even if I have find a nice way of answering.

Yes.. some forums are specially made for such subjects, and sometimes can be better or worse.
I'm glad you have found some other avenues to express your thoughts.
Though I don't "hate" anyone.. there are certain people, online and offline that I try to avoid.. just for sanity's sake. Haha

It can be tough to find those respectful conversations...For me compared to messageboards that I've been to, this website has been better.

Some people are harder to communicate with, and have such strongly-held
and fiercely-defended filters that there is little to be accomplished either way, in engaging with them.

Hi love, I know your writing too well to think that you would hate any
one here. But you are right. This place is sort of like a big loosely connected family where we discuss things around the dinner table, some with a little more intensity than others. I like to believe that there is much respect here, but then I talk with fairies and Gnomes!!!!! I just love everyone and don't try to get into depths...or is that out of my depth!! Great Post.

For a second there I thought an all-out war was being launched against certain bloggers, and then had to hope I wasn't one of them! Sharing thoughts and opinions doesn't necessarily have to get ugly or nasty, and one should be able to discuss or relate to any topic they'd like. I think we're all mature, educated adults here!
