That is quite the story about his wealth and his people. Your recipie sounds really good. Sometimes, I enjoy making a rich broth and after straining and skimming the fat .. it is a good warm drink to have with a sandwich or salad.

And I think it's a very human thing, for folks try to demonstrate their personal worth through display of their material wealth--and to... mmm... exaggerate.
