Cute Kabu. My mom has a porch goose named Gertie. My grandkids love to dress her.

Such a beautiful photograph; amazing how he poses for you.  You must be turning into a kind of naturalist that the animals will befriend.  My mother used to tell stories of having a pet fox when she was a girl.  (although I doubt it is really a good idea.)

That's funny, but I am sure Mr. Graysome knows what he is complaining about. We also have a red fox in the neighborhood, no ones chickens are safe.

We had our first hot day in the desert, 90F, but it wasn't all that bad even though very, very warm! My oldest son had a cookout today and we partnered up for a game of horseshoes and we won! But, not to brag with have lously, not being sarcastic or demeaning, competition so we look better than we are! LOL! But we feed off each other and can come through in the clutch! I nearly stole this guy's ringer today, missed by so little of laying on top of his! I did manage to steal one of his points though! He said he was not going to brag or feel good about because he knew I could take it from him! He was happy with the ringer! Then I laid one on the post to put the game out of reach even though they staged a great comeback attempt! Then I got the final point! I was so stoked because I wanted to show my son I was not a liability! He 13 of our first 15 point then I got 5 of the last 6! All in all it was a lot of fun! The joshing after the game was even more fun! I told the guy I had a great time taking his point from him! LOL! Have a great day tomorrow! sam

That's a darling fox, even if he does eat turkeys and gnomes.  Just don't let him eat Mr. Graysome.

What a beautiful animal. It brings tears to my eyes to know that people still hunt and kill these poor creatures just for their furs.
