Re: adnohr

No not all adnohr but it did not do my knees much good picking strawberries all day.One day in frustration I told her to F./Off my Mum was becoming afraid of her,as she. my Mum was on the edge of dementia and was hallucinating. The old girl was on a high and this was the  third time she called shouting about. It was in my time of witches and demons, well just starting.

Re: Jay

Jay I ought to be in bed with a trained nurse, I'll see if Uncle Albert will fill a slot.

I take it you were a young lad when working with the lady in brown? Enjoyed the train ride, and I don't remember reading it before. Very well done! Going to borrow your donkey & cart quip - I know just the person to use it on!

Did I say improper when I ment proper? It's late.

I don't think it would be improper to miss when we all are here looking for you, Sunday or not.

Re: The train ride back from where you went would seem much shorter

Pat yes most probably, I feel like a good hike, just to get broken in. Perhaps once around the block would suffice. I'll remember your good advice if I get lost. Have you picked any Strawberries yet?

Kabu

Kabu I hope I am not going off it already, that is the trouble, I latch onto something for about a fortnight and then I can't stand it, it, it, it. A little frost this morning but it is only on the cars and has not frozen the water. I just  thought looking at Jay's gnomes. Wouldn't it be fun if one could get a photograph of oneself and get it modelled into a gnome.

Taps I guess he knows there is a boundary, I wish he would get a women to keep him occupied, if only to teach him knitting. I used to take him fishing, but it is a bit boring just sit in a car waiting for that elusive bite.

B I , I hope you don't sit with your back to the train, once years ago I jumped in a train and was horrified to notice after it started, it said Women only. It was in the old days they did not have a corridor, I was only 20 and for all of the journey no one said anything. Perhaps they thought I was one of them. I was in uniform.

Re: Re: SAM

I thought your reply was hilarious! Here you are up for the day and I am up past midnight in my neck of the woods! LOL! My iTunes went all crazy on me so I had to go to Windows Media Player to load my CD's. It's crazy because I have more than 2,000 songs to load! I suspect I will be at it for a couple of days if not more! A bit time consuming project! sam

Re: Justi

Justi the trouble is with the flowers that there are about 100 different, but you have to compare them side-by-side and they all have names. I am afraid I cannot keep up with the names, but I could if I looked it up in the catalogue. The lady in Brown was the plague of our lives, I guess she will be kicking up a ruckus until she gets in the Pearly Gates,

Re: SAM

Sam Arthur made a cryptic remark as he tried the popcorn "a bit coarse, but then the firm

does not want to allow you to make them as good as the ones they sell for treble the price'' I did make a joke which he laughed at The B,I.L  fixed some plugs up for me and brought them.   I said, "now he's a good little donkey .''

You do have a time of it with Arthur, but it makes for interesting reading! I chuckled when you did in the first part! Your poems are such a delight to read! I like how they are easly to understand with humor interspersed but there always seems to a message of one sort or another for the reader! I like that aspect very much! You made me hungry for popcorn but it is far too late in the evening to make it! But, tomorrow is another day and I shall be pop, pop, popping along! LOL! sam

Oh such fun as all three of these were. Yes I guess one does not need to get that cart pulled if one has paid the bill. LOLL The lady in the brown seems like good farm help. I didn't remember having read the third one before. I love those quaint little flowers.

A couple years ago I burnt Mrs. Sun’s microwave. I told her to replace it. She replaced it with my old one from my last apartment that she must have had in storage in her mountain house. She charged $200 and bought a new hood range for her stove sir. BC-A, Bill’s R®st  w

Hi .. I think you really enjoy teasing Arthur. The train is a grand way to travel, I have friends in Pittsburgh PA. and take the train there because the scenery is beautiful to sit back and enjoy. I enjoyed today's poetry and post.

Chiff.Chaff.

I love microwaving popcorn, 1 minute 15 seconds for the small bag, it's a real treat. Yes, perhaps it's the change for Arthur and that isn't a nice time. Never changed myself of course, always been crackers a bit. Love those flowers and the poetry, much to think about.

Oops...One of those times where I did not see the photo and poems are together...I've popped popcorn once in the microwave. Thankfully it all went well for me...It's interesting to read of the daily events in your life.

I loved your train ride.  It recalled to me the trips on the MKT to visit my grandma in Oklahoma.

I love the way you and Arthur carry on with each other.  It gives you each an opportunity to work the starch out of your collar and not have to hold it in.

great post ...Arthur probably is going through his change...he is so bossy

to you and yet, he gets the huff when you tease him a little. Still now you can eat as much popcorn as you like. Yes it is good for you ..it is the salt and butter i love on it that is bad.

The train ride back from where you went would seem much shorter

than the ride to that distant destination. It's a trick of memory, the order of things reversed, since we come to them first seems much quicker.

So many don't pay attention to landmarks or look back to take a mental image of where they've come from so they can find their way back. They rely on the GPS and street signs, which are useless on a hiking trail...
