Don't tell FSI but I hardly ever wash my car in the winter time, I just hope it snows a lot.

Too bad we don't have a car wash across the pond to take care of your vehicle(s)...That is quite the world to be transported too...The photo is so nice and sunny.

Re: CCT

Of course you are Wiley, while I can't say that I am a mechanic or carpenter or an electrician, I can be a pain in the ass though.

Re: If it isn't going to be a drought ...and these old sayings are often better

Kabu I just thought it is raining , I will drive it out of the car-port and get a freebie. Mind if our old mate FS was up the road I would have to get a proper job done. One thing in Arthur's favour is that he is not mean. So I put up with his little tantrums/

Re: Mom had a saying about a buttermilk sky...

Pat of course folk relied on the weather pattern, my dad always thought he could forecast the weather, we always chuckled, because we knew it would be just the opposite to what he said. Guess what it is raining here this morning, the first time in any quantity for a month. You must have an earlier climate and we have I read somewhere that your strawberries were in flower, mine in the garden look little shrivelled up things at the moment. Under the plastic I noticed they are pushing out flowers, I must spray them for greenfly before the bees are active, not a problem outside.

Sam thank you I'm glad you are  getting it all together. Don't make it too secure, it will all have to be moved again, when you move on. I think you're manure digging in has gone past, don't you? I shall not offer too much with vegetables if we have to carry all the water in cans, I have some early strawberries in pots under a tunnel and a few early potatoes in pots just as a novelty, tomatoes and stick beans, and just young cabbages grown as greens. It has been raining, so that is such great news for us.

Stunning ending to your poems! I got a kick out of Patrick's poems! And, my daughter and I were looking on line for some things and we had to enter all the information before we could find out the shipping and handling! It drives me nuts when they do that!

We have been very busy at my place! We got all of Jes' stuff here and not we are going through it to sort and pack away what she won't need until she gets an apartment down the road in a few years! A chore nonetheless, but fun enough! Today the weather was much better so we got the patio and porch cleaned up along with the furniture! It looks great but I imagine since we are done the rain will come along! lol Happy Easter to you CC! sam

Mom had a saying about a buttermilk sky...

rain or snow within 24 hours. It held true when I lived on the western slope of the Cascades in the Pacific NW., but here in the Midwest it doesn't necessarily work that way. Thunder is twice as loud here, too.

If it isn't going to be a drought ...and these old sayings are often better

than any forcast, then the rain will eventually wash the car.

Arthur is just a grumble bum....but don't tell him or he will sulk.

Rain before seven, gone by eleven...and it is often true, in Australia anyway.

Hope that you have had a nice Easter.

Mary had a little lamb

The doctors were surprised.

Give that one to Patrick. Loved yhe yellow flower old chap, and don't bother washing the car then. A little dirt doesn't hurt. Hey I'm a poet.HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY
