It is good to hear when someone finds someone they like, no matter how it appears. The flowers were exciting, cheerful red.

There's actually much more I should say, both about your observations of the gentlemen desperately searching for love and about your insightful poem - but my time is limited, so I'll just second TAPS... Oh, and Happy Easter...

Re:

Taps I thought no one else was using this post so it would be easy to operate,, well as you know I did use it for flowers but sometimes if one has not got any photos available something else can kick in. Happy Easter.

Re: All these beautiful, exotic young ladies who love to keep house...

Pat, probably one has to be at a certain age to be able to feel at ease in conversation with an intelligent woman. When one becomes older one can let them do the talking unsurprisingly they are very good at it. I think probably because they have learned that it is easier to intrigue than prove a point very often. I always thought the criteria or what one would call the cut-off point, was when a lady pulled up her skirt and showed one her varicose veins. One really felt one could give her a cuddle just for sympathy. Yes I am afraid the minds have to twist in sensuous pleasure to squeeze the last few spots of rapture from what might have been.

Re:

Adnohr yes well , horses for courses, it was probably nice for him to put his hand on her thick nighty or gain a bit of satisfaction looking at her stiff bloomers on the line on a frosty morning. I put Arthur's view on your blog,

I have to give it to him for continuing his quest until he appeared satisfied! I have seen people together that seemed odd in its own way but as long as they are happy then it doesn't matter! I loved the poem, too! sam

I liked the escapades of the techno traffic person. A Walrus mustache.... Not so swift ot me! I loved the poem as usual. So these are again two winners. HAPPY EASTER FRIEND.

The sweetness of the traffic warden??? SO I guess he won't be too picky if he's just looking for someone to replace her. Ah now - love is not prepared for us...and in no way an easy task. Another whispering poem, C.C. - very good.

All these beautiful, exotic young ladies who love to keep house...

The population of CC Town is a wonder to behold. I would have clucked my tongue but then I remembered my own imagined visitors... Not a one of them plagued by old age,  aches or dyspepsia, they're all Jacks of All Trades, appreciative of plain cooking and full of entertaining anecdontes. So, here's to us, my friend. The life of the mind is never dull.
