What a beautiful poem!!  I am beginning to think a smokey earth bonfire would be great, although my trees are only just getting leaves, let alone blossom

Like Nautikos, I read your poem over again and again, savouring it. And then I sat and let it wander through me for awhile....

I have to catch up on your other posts - will comment as I go along

Re: CCT

Naut thank you, I wonder what we shall talk about in 100 years time the delicacy of the plastics, no I think there will always be flowers, some little rebel resisting protocol.

Only joking, I hope.

Re: CCT, our weather here is coolish again, too...

Rumor I do hope you feel better, it does not take a lot to give the car a touch of the old shivers. As the days get warmer it does help the plants, just keeping that cold touch away.

LLM thank you, these little plant flowers are coming out rather early this year I have had to put them out of the greenhouse as they do not like the occasional sunny day being alpine flowers

Re:

Taps I have not read Jay's poem yet, but he is always interesting, I do like to hear other

writers comments about their Garden's. I have nearly half an acre of land so I just do not feel like cultivating all of it. I think I shall have many flowers to give away this year, as water restrictions  will not encourage much gardening of vegetables.

Re:

SAm thank you, I knew you were busy, I kept imagining you driving a couple of horses and waggon with the old shot gun by your side. I expect that would've been 100 years ago. Just as dangerous today I would think. Take it easy.

Re: Lovely poem, CCT!

Ray thank you, I think you are right, I took note last year and certain members were commenting on warmer weather whilst we were still shivering here, it used to be 1 June before we were pretty positive, although I have known a frost on the seventh June which was pretty devastating.

Lovely poem, CCT!

And such exquisite flowers. I think our frost danger has passed, it is like summer already.

I loved the poem! And, I worry about that last frost! It can be troublesome! I got caught up on all your posts! I left comments but there's no need to reply to them! sam

CCT, our weather here is coolish again, too...

There was some frost on the car this morning, not a lot, but "old man winter" just won't let go...meanwhile spring flowers and blossoms are everywhere....

What a wonderful way you have of touching us with beautiful poetry. It is like your pen is filled with the ink of life and you spill it before us with such color...Thank you.

the beauty of the day dream, the beauty likened to the rose, this all

brought mea lump in my throat for it touched my soul as you sometimes do with your poetry. Loving it. Congratulations.

and yes, I am hearing on the TV that there may be snow in Bonny Scotland and the north of England perhaps.

CCT

I lingered over this one for a while, savouring it - it's a brilliant invocation of memory and desire...And there's a line that I felt admonished me, 'Logic cannot be applied to prevent the thought of the breeze disturbing the roses'...
