It is nice to read that the wildlife is being active...In Maryland we're having an early spring.

I'd still be laughing at the sight of that little chipmunk.
No wonder Disney and the others make so many cartoons about them. Can't wait for spring and more of these anecdotes. As for the crows... I kinda have a thing for them.

It is funny really Kabu I doubt if a lot of folk could tell the difference between one chipmunk and the next. And yet there is a slight variation in all animals if one has a flock of chickens, one can pick out the difference between them quite easily after a while. I expect a chipmunk can tell the difference between you and other u-mens. It is a job to find a peaceful surrounding like you have it is like going back in time

I'm so glad to know that Chippy made his way home with his dinner and you got to sit back and enjoy his triumpant struggle without disturbing his domain. Sounds like there are many "love" nests in your area and that you all are getting along together.

"How good it is to be us" indeed love. Now as to that table, you do know it will have to be moved as it interferes with cleaning the back walk. Loved your 'Tales of Wiley Lane Wildlife' and expect to see much more of your wonderful storytelling abilities darlin'.
