Mind the ratings and the cashflow from advertisers. Do the anniversary of Barbie and the Japanes disaster really rate the same amount of airtime? What's that song about "bubble headed bleached blond comes on at five, can tell you about the murder with a gleam in her eye?" Something like that, too true for comfort.

what a wonderful post and how true. I can't stand to hear the same story
over and over and chewed at and spat out by so called experts when yes there is a whole world of news to digest. we are done a diservice being treated like so many sheep. I have given up and watch old movies or spend time on my computer. bring on the summer when I am outside in my garden.

i agree with your take on what it is....money....advertising....puff stories....sensationalized bs stories to promote fear.....
